Is CBD Good for Stress? Strategies for Fighting Stress

We’ve all felt stress, but if asked, could you describe it? While the American Institute of Stress notes that the concept of stress is quite subjective and may be different for everyone, those of us who have experienced stress can certainly identify it and perhaps even recognize our own triggers.   Living in our fast-paced technologically advanced world has only increased the stress we face every day, while even bringing it straight to our fingertips in the form of notifications, emails, and text messages.  It’s inevitable that we feel stress from time to time and if left unchecked, this stress can pose a threat to our mental health, physical health and social lives.

The good news is stress can successfully be managed and reduced in healthy ways, including:

Exercising

Do you enjoy exercising regularly? If so, you likely experience lower levels of stress. Aerobic exercise, in particular, movement that gets your heart pumping and blood flowing, will release endorphins into your body. These natural substances help you to naturally feel better and maintain a positive attitude, even when facing the stressors of everyday life. Go for a walk, take a hike, or ride a bike (and leave the phone behind).

Meditation

Meditation may seem like a mysterious, metaphysical process, but it doesn’t have to be. Simply taking the time every day to relax and focus your mind inward produces lasting benefits. Meditation can include deep breathing, muscle relaxation, positive imagery, and focused mindfulness. This can be done by anyone, anywhere, at practically any time to help relieve stress in the present and to assist in producing a lower-stress future. When our mind and body are in a balanced state, we are calmer, less stressed, and more present.

CBD

When taken on a regular basis, studies have shown that hemp-derived CBD, also known as Cannabidiol, can greatly reduce stress. CBD is non-psychoactive and does not produce a high. It binds with receptors in the brain to prevent mental fuzziness or slowness, and can induce a pleasant, relaxed feeling throughout the body.   CBD can help fight stress in the present moment and, when taken regularly, can prevent stress from affecting you in the same way continuously. Studies have proven that, when taken over time, CBD can change the brain’s reaction to stressors, so that you will learn a new response when faced with stress.

With a wide variety of CBD beverage flavors, each with 25 mg CBD isolate extracted from hemp, VYBES is a great way to introduce CBD to your body in small doses. Not only are VYBES delicious, but they can be used throughout the day and help you reach and maintain a state of relaxation, where stress won’t affect you as much.

Reduce Your Stress Triggers

Finally, one of the best and most effective ways to combat stress in your life is to identify and reduce your stress triggers. Is your life filled with too many demands and too little time to accomplish what you “need” to do? Try to free up your time by prioritizing these demands, deciding what can be cut out and what can be placed on the back burner, and practice better time-management skills.

Summing It Up

If you exercise regularly, meditate daily, and learn your own stress triggers and how to reduce them, you can begin to minimize the stress you experience day-to-day. Drinking VYBES can also help you lessen stress in your everyday life by leaving you feeling refreshed, balanced, and ready to combat the mental toll of living in this fast-paced world.
